A beautiful hand blown art glass vase in the form of a magnificent owl, probably made in the Murano area of Italy in the 1970s-80s. He has applied eyes and pulled beak and ears. His body is decorated with rows of little dimples. He is made of thick turquoise glass with brown and orange flecking below the rim. The base bears a polished pontil.
This is a large and very decorative piece, in fantastic condition.
