A large earthenware chemist jar dating to the early 20th century. It would have been displayed in a shop window or on the counter, and advertised 'Snowfire Cream', a popular lady's beauty preparation. It has relief moulded decoration and has been hand painted. It has no lid as is usual with these pieces.
It was made by Royal Cauldon and bears their backstamp on the base.
An attractive, decorative piece in good original condition.
