An arresting portrait of an attractive young woman, entitled "Theodora". It is signed "David S Foulks, 1948" and has a brass plaque attached giving the artist and title. The woman has a distinctly Mediterranean appearance, heightened by her black headdress. Her smoky eyes gaze boldly out at the viewer and she has a serene, but slightly haughty expression on her face. The painting is on canvas and is mounted in a simple back wooden frame. There are a couple of minor scuffs to the surface, but otherwise it is in good condition. It is ready to hang.
