Three toy wooden soldiers made by Kay Bojesen of Denmark in the 1960s/70s. They are in the form of Grenadier Guardsmen wearing red tunics and bearskin helmets, and one is carrying a drum. They are jointed with pegs at the shoulders and hips, have impressed eyes, and handpainted detail to the tunics and trousers. Each has a stamp saying "Kay Bojesen Copyright Denmark" to the inside of one leg.
The soldiers stand 8.75" tall. They are in good play worn condition.
These are good decorative pieces and great examples of iconic 20th century Danish design.
