An attractive vintage reclaimed copper weathercock, dating to approximately the 1970s/80s. It is hollow and made of pressed copper sheet, with single ply sheet for the tail, comb and arrow feathers. It is mounted on a brass stem and arrow. The copper has an attractive aged patina with some evidence of verdigris. There is a little denting to the body and a slight kink to the tail. This is an attractive piece for display inside or out.
