Dimensions:
A mourning Albert or Albertina watch chain made of bog oak and pinchbeck, dating to the 1860s/70s. It has finely carved bog oak links alternating with pinchbeck links. A detailed pinchbeck woman's hand clasps one of the links, and there is a blank bog oak seal fob attached. The grain of the bog oak can be seen with a loupe.
The chain measures 33cm long.
