An orchestral Swanee Whistle, also known as a Lotus Flute, Jazzoflute or Slide Flute. It was patented in 1924 and is impressed with the registered design number 687087. The body is made of ebonite or Bakelite with nickel plated mount. The plunger at the end can be moved in and out when blowing to change the pitch of the whistle with comical results. It is in good working condition.
