Dimensions:
A beautiful lady's hand mirror, made in France in the 1930s. The frame and handle are made of cast bronze. The handle is reeded with stylised moulded roses and swags are the ends. The frame is decorated with bands of red and black enamel and moulded beading. In the middle is a portrait of an attractive young woman sporting a fashionable hairstyle and wearing a diaphanous gown. This is protected by glass. The mirror itself has a bevelled edge. The side of the handle is impressed 'France'. This lovely piece would make a beautiful addition to a lady's dressing table.
It is in good condition with light scratching to the mirror and minor wear commensurate with its age.
