A Japanese toy dating to approximately the 1960s, based on the popular Dakkochan or Dakko-chan doll, produced by Takara Ltd. The name roughly translates as 'hugging baby', and the original dolls were about baby size and could be attached to the arm of the owner. This toy features four of the Dakkochan figures, each attached to the spoke of a windmill. When wound, the windmill goes round, the figures somersault and a bell rings. The key is present and the toy still works well.
