A charming miniature tin trunk, dating to the late 19th century, possibly intended as an accessory for a fashion doll or as a small strong box. It has an attractive painted wood grain finish and a hinged lid. The front wall is double thickness and this conceals the workings of the four lever brass lock. The key is not present.
