A large glass lidded bowl dating to the early 20th century, and used as a shop counter display piece to advertise Field's Pure Toilet Soap. The bowl is made of clear glass with lettering etched to the inner side of the glass on both sides of the bowl and the lid. The lettering was originally all coloured but this has worn away in places.
