A novelty inkwell in the form of an early automobile, probably made in Germany in approximately 1920. This charming veteran car is typical of vehicles of that period. It is made of spelter with a silvered finish, and is nicely moulded with good detail. The hinged lid opens to reveal the original glass insert. 

In good condition with minor wear commensurate with its age.
